The Tumbledown Dick (generally refered to as "The Tumbledown" or "The Tumbley" for certain reasons) is a pub & venue in the centre of Farnborough Hampshire. One half of the building is a pub which opens daily serving a good selection of drinks and features a pool room and a beer garden (perhaps now referred to as a "smoking garden"!) The venue is a reasonable size and hosts a variety of live music events as well as a weekly alternative music club night, 'Quarantine'. The Tumbledown has undeniable character and its history dates back hundreds of years.
Capacity: 300
Door Policy: Relaxed
Website: www.thetumbledown.com
Directions: The Tumbledown is situated in Farnborough, between Reading and Guildford in the south of the UK. It is easily accessible by car and has it's own ample car park. Here are links to the The Tumbledown on Google Maps and MultiMap.
There are two rail stations within short walking distance from The Tumbledown and both run services departing regularly until around midnight (meaning that travel by train to all live events is possible and you won't have to leave early). Farnborough Main services direct trains to and from London Waterloo, Woking, Fleet, Hook, Basingstoke & Southampton amongst others. Farnborough North similarly runs trains to and from Reading, Wokingham, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Blackwater & Guildford and many more.
